Heating systems that pay you to use heat. Crazy, but it’s true. Let’s answer some common questions.
HOW MUCH CAN I SAVE?
It depends. Factors like how often you use heat, how much you need, and what your energy costs (electricity and/or existing heat source), all impact cost savings.
We’ve seen savings range from 10-100% or more, sometimes even paying you a profit to use heat. The average range is 50-75%.
AM I A GOOD FIT?
Great question. Because our heating systems pay you, there’s an economic analysis factor to address.
Sign up for a Heat Audit – our comprehensive thermo-economic modeling service to get the exact numbers.
We’ll deliver a report with estimated cost savings, a few different recommendations for systems that will fit your needs, and an outline of next steps.
WHAT APPLICATIONS ARE BEST?
Electric heat (that pays you) is great for any low grade (not super hot) heating systems. Think water and air heating, not melting steel.
We can design solutions to fit pretty much any comfort heating application.
WHAT FUEL SOURCES ARE BEST TO REPLACE?
From a fuel perspective, stored fuel sources like liquid propane, heating oil or even wood, typically have the highest cost savings.
Essentially, if you’re in a rural, cold climate – you’re likely to save a lot.
Cheap central heating fuel like natural gas in the USA is hard to compete with.
And if you’re already heating with electricity – time to upgrade. Your bill will stay the exact same, but now you’re getting paid.
HOW BIG CAN YOU GO?
There’s no explicit size limitation. Our systems can be sized to service residential, commercial and industrial applications.
